The Vibe

A charming, family oriented neighbourhood with a strong community feel.

The Story

Roncesvalles was originally a predominantly Polish neighbourhood due to the large number of immigrants who moved into the area after WWII. “Roncy” is of course, now home to people from many cultures and backgrounds, but the annual Polish festival at the end of every summer celebrates the area’s history while bringing the community together for a weekend of street food, events, and performances. The residential makeup of Roncesvalles real estate ranges widely - lush streets are filled with gorgeous both single family and multi-dwelling homes, with a select few boutique condo residences and hard loft conversions.

The Convenience

We aren’t kidding when we say this neighbourhood has literally EVERYTHING you need in the food department. A fancy juice bar? You betcha. BBQ? Artisanal Butcher? Authentic Cuban Fare? Yup. Coffee shops? They’ve got plenty. We could go on, but you get the picture. In addition to the awesome culinary scene, there are incredible boutiques, beauty bars, yoga studios grocery shops, banks, pharmacies...you name it, Roncy’s got it. Plus, if you’re looking for a night out, Parkdale is just around the corner.

The Residents

Roncesvalles real estate is made up of mostly working-age residents and families, along with a moderate population of retirees.

The Best Part

Aside from the opportunity to drool over stunning houses and have every possible convenience at your fingertips, you’re wedged in between High Park and Parkdale, two equally awesome neighbourhoods
