About The Neighbourhood
The Township of Rideau Lakes is the place to get away from it all, offering something for everyone including boating, fishing, golfing, shopping or antiquing, just to name a few.
It's located in the northwest order of Leeds and Grenville and is the largest municipality in the county, boasting 500 km of shoreline. Farming, tourism and service industries are the mainstays of its local economy.
Each of the communities within Rideau Lakes have their own unique charm and offerings: Portland is considered the gateway to Big Rideau Lake, Newboro is an anglers getaway, Delta is known for it's historic stone mill and heritage homes - the list goes on. Smaller villages and hamlets include Plum Hollow, Chantry, Crosby and Philipsville.
