The Vibe

Where young professionals enjoy the charm and allure of walking to work during the day and stepping out their doorstep to an array of endless possibilities at night.

The Story

Niagara is located south of Queen Street West, with Strachan Avenue to the west, Bathurst Street to the east. The area got its name back in the 1900s because Niagara Street is the main street in this neighbourhood. Niagara used to be home to the railroad workers, as it ran along the CN & CP railway corridors. Over time, the area slowly deteriorated and the emergence of industrial structures was on the rise. Over the years, the area slowly went through a transitional phase of reconstruction from industrial to residential. Recently the Niagara real estate market has seen an explosion of condominium lofts and row house developments that proved that this area is quite desirable. The move from industrial to residential has been extremely beneficial and has changed the dynamics of this once quiet industrial land to a bustling financial and entertainment district.

The Convenience

Conveniently located near Toronto’s business and entertainment district, you are walking distance to the main attractions such as the Skydome, Exhibition Place, the Harbourfront and the Toronto Islands. You can enjoy stepping out of your door, to find yourself in the centre of it all. The urban living that this area provides, is one that you can fully appreciate, as there is no need for a car. It’s no wonder that this area is rapidly expanding as the charm and allure is so attractive to so many individuals. Just down the road, the streets are lined with high end clothing stores as Niagara is home to the fashion district. You will also find a collection of eclectic boutiques, colourful independent art shops and beautiful furniture stores. There are many places to catch a drink with friends, Sunday brunch or just head out to the entertainment district where the possibilities are endless. Niagara has many urban parks that provide ample greenery. Come over to Stanley Park which is a multi use recreational facility located in the centre of Niagara that is frequently used by the locals. Niagara is easily accessible by streetcar, bus and by way of the QEW but once there, be prepared to walk. If you enjoy condo living, you will be sure to find numerous low to mid rise contemporary condominiums, row houses and warehouse style lofts for those that enjoy the urban industrial lifestyle.

The Residents

Niagara is ideal for young professionals who work hard and play harder. The idea of walking to work then turning a corner to enjoy the night life or if you’d rather just sip on espresso by the fire, Niagara will not disappoint. Most of the residents are young professionals working in the financial district due to its proximity to the downtown core.

The Best Part

If you appreciate a beautiful marriage between commercial and urban residential style living, Niagara puts you in the centre of it all. Niagara, is where you can work, play and live life to the fullest!
