The Vibe

You can expect to experience that small town vibe within the glitz and glamour of luxurious glass condominiums with amenities to match!

The Story

Back in the 1800s and the early part of the 1900s, South Etobicoke was where the rich would escape to their summer houses to escape the city life. When the Grand Trunk Railway was built it quickly became an all year round housing community that housed the workers and influx of new Canadians. In 1917, it became its own town, 30 years later and it became part of the city of Toronto. Like much of Toronto, South Etobicoke real estate is a very diverse suburban development with larger main streets and many stores along the main strip to choose from. It’s impossible to explore South Etobicoke in just one day as there is so much to do and see.

The Convenience

The allure of South Etobicoke real estate is the lakefront that stretches along Humber Bay Shores to Long Branch. Etobicoke is a popular place for families, couples, and even aspiring photographers as you can find numerous parks that include flowers, walkways, bike trails, waterfalls, gardens all along the lakeside. Marie Curits is one of the most underrated beaches as it’s very clean and has the most picturesque views of the harbour. Make sure to pack a bathing suit as the swimming is phenomenal there. The area is not really known as having the best shopping districts but there are some hidden gems among the eclectic stores located on the Queensway and the beautifully designed shopping mall, Sherway Gardens, is an excellent alternative. The party scene isn’t huge either but there are some interesting bars and art spaces with live music that never fails to entertain. Unlike the north, the public transit system is better equipped for the area with frequently running buses. The GO train is also a very popular alternative for getting downtown and around. In the residential areas there are many cul de sacs which make it an ideal place for families with small children. You can be sure to find an array of newly built beautiful & luxurious condominiums if living in the sky is more your taste.
